Claude Code Workshops, explained

Two members presenting in front of a screen during a Build with Claude workshop in Chandigarh.

Claude Code Workshops are the format IXC Commons started with, hands-on, laptop-open sessions where the only goal is that everyone leaves with something that runs, not notes on something they might build later.

How it works

No slides, nobody presenting at the room. People bring a real problem, work on it with Claude Code and other AI tools, and compare notes with whoever is next to them. It's closer to a shared work afternoon than a talk.

This is the format Build with Claude, IXC Commons' first-ever session, run in Chandigarh in July 2026, set the template for. Five people, five laptops, one afternoon, everyone left with something they'd built.

Workshop vs. Coffee with Claude

IXC Commons runs two formats. Claude Code Workshops are open to a general audience of builders. Coffee with Claude narrows the room to one specific audience per session, sales, entrepreneurs, developers, marketing, going deep on that one group instead. Both share the same underlying rule: no slides, something real gets built, in the room, by the end.

See the full session log for every session that has run, in either format, with real photos.
