Inside Coffee with Claude: Sales Edition

Two members reviewing a build together at the Coffee with Claude Sales Edition session.

Coffee with Claude: Sales Edition, run on 1 August 2026, was IXC Commons' first session aimed squarely at people in sales, not developers or founders.

What got built

The whole session was built around one real thing: an AI sales agent, built live, covering the full loop from prospecting to objection handling. Nothing was on slides, it got built at the front of the room while everyone followed along on their own laptop, then worked through their own version of it.

Why sales, specifically

IXC Commons runs Coffee with Claude one room at a time, deliberately aimed at a single audience per session rather than a general crowd. Sales teams have a very specific set of repetitive, high-volume workflows, prospecting, follow-ups, objection handling, that map unusually well onto what AI agents are good at automating. Rather than a generic "AI for business" talk, this session went deep on that one audience.

The format, as always

No slides, no one presenting at the room, the agent got built live, and the room worked alongside it rather than watching it happen.
