On 23 August 2026, IXC Commons ran its most code-heavy session yet in Chandigarh: Coffee with Claude: Hands-on Developer Edition.
The format
Five developers, five laptops, real problems to ship. There were no slides and no one presenting at the room, the whole session was screens full of terminals and in-progress builds, with people working through their own projects and comparing notes with whoever was next to them.
One screen had a game scene up mid-build. Another had a terminal running through a deploy. This is the format IXC Commons keeps coming back to for developer-focused sessions: less talk, more code, and everyone leaves with something running rather than notes on something they might build later.
Who it's for
This edition was aimed specifically at developers, people comfortable writing and shipping code, not a general audience session. That is deliberate: IXC Commons runs its Coffee with Claude sessions one room at a time, going deep on a single audience instead of broad on everyone.
What people left with
Everyone in the room left with something running, a real change to a real project, built live, in the room, using Claude Code as a working tool rather than a demo.
